SUMMARY:Pre-Coding Skills: Step It Out!
DESCRIPTION:Step It Out! Week 3\n\n \n\nLearn the basic skills and concepts 
 needed for computer coding by watching animated stories and songs\, and 
 doing fun activities that are all about using computational thinking to be 
 creative and solve problems. The Wombats’ favorite thing to say is\, 
 “Work it out!” That’s what we’re going to do—we’re going to 
 “work it out\,” which means solving problems using computational 
 thinking\, just like the Wombats!\n\nThis 3 week series is all about 
 sequencing\, refered to by the Wombats as Step It Out. When children step 
 it out\, they create or follow a series of steps for solving problems\, 
 accomplishing tasks\, or making something. We'll dance and make a music 
 video\, create stick puppets\, design stuffed animal obstacle courses\, and 
 more!\n\nCome learn more about CT\, a creative way of thinking that helps 
 children solve problems in more organized ways using a set of skills from 
 computer science. Over the three week program\, we’ll do fun hands-on 
 activities\, watch Wombats! videos\, and listen to stories.  In between the 
 sessions\, families will continue the learning at home\, using the Work It 
 Out Wombats! Family App\, which is designed for adults and children to use 
 together. Each week will build on the last so please try to attend all 
 three weeks.\n\nRecommended Age: Families with kids ages 3-6.\n\n\n\n\n
