Rubber Duck Costume Contest In-Person

Decorate a rubber duck in costume to enter our Costume Contest! Register to compete and either pick up your Rubber Duck Kit (1 rubber duck, air dry clay, and paint pots) starting September 1 — kits are first come first served, while supplies last — or attend the Rubber Duck Cosplay Decorating Night on September 2nd to decorate a duck. Bring in your finished duck by Sept. 28 for display and People’s Choice voting in October!

Rules: Participants Must:

Complete registration form FIRST to take home a Rubber Duck kit or to decorate at the library event. (You may only enter once).
Use the supplied rubber duck as the base.
You may use either library supplied materials or materials from home to decorate your duck.
Return their finished art by Sept 28, 2026 for public display at GLADL Main.
When art is submitted, participant must
- Provide their First Name and Last Initial
- Provide their Age
- Provide a title for their piece.
- Email of Participant
Voting is from October 2-30th.
Pick up their duck at the end of the show -- from November 4-13th.
