Kids--Create Your Own "Jurassic" World--Dinosaur Toy Photo Workshop [Registration Req.] In-Person
Do you Dig Dinosaurs? Have Dinosaur toys or Models? Come create photos of your own "Jurassic" world!
Children (adults too!) love to use toys, models and figures to create imaginary scenes. Award-winning video producer Kevin Epling hosts this fun experience in small scale photography. Kids and adults can bring your toys and models (3”-7” size works best!)--Kevin will have "sets' in place for you to work with as you take your photos!
There will be iPads on hand to take pictures with-- but participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras (or smart devices with cameras) too. Several toy dioramas will be on display for photo opportunities

Enjoy this fun and easy beginners’ session of one the fastest growing aspects of toy collecting and modeling: Toy Photography-- an engaging way to learn the basics of photography, including concepts like focus, exposure, lighting, perspective, and composition. It also is a great introduction to various mathematical skills like scaling ,involves the crafting and creativity of miniature set construction, and an opportunity to explore the skills and vision behind creating practical special effects.
About the Presenter: Kevin Epling is an award-winning video producer with over 30 years of storytelling experience. For the past 6 years he has been capturing “single-frame” stories on a much smaller scale as the creative director of Smallscalepics.
