Think you are a super speedy block builder? Grab some friends and test your skill as a team to speed build a Lego set! All teams will build the same provided set in a timed competition. The first team to finish will win a small prize. Teams will consist of 2 to 4 kids between the ages of 7 and 10, based on the official recommended ages for the selected Lego set. Registration is required - one Adult Team Contact per team will register once for their whole team. Limited to the first 10 teams that sign up, registration will close when full.

RULES

• A team must consist of at least 2 Team Members and no more than 4 Members may be on a team. Each team must have a designed Adult Team Contact person who will register the team and receive any communications from the library. Only the Adult Team Contact needs to fill out the form to register the entire team.
• All teams members must be between the ages of 7 and 10.
• Adults are welcome to watch, but may not assist any team.
• If a Team Member needs to be replaced or if a team needs to drop out, please email collections@gladl.org ASAP so the list can be updated.
• Teams must be at their table ready to go by 2:10pm. Announcements will be made and then the competition will start at 2:15pm. 
• Each team will have an identical Lego set, placed in front of them on the table. The pieces and instructions will be covered so they can't see what they will be building.
• When the timer goes off to start they will take the cover off the pieces and will begin to build.
• Teams must stick to their own tables and shouldn't bother other teams while they are building.
• The first team who completes the set (or has the most completed within the hour) will win!
