Create Like a Famous Artist: Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera In-Person

We're making art inspired the work of Mexican artists Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera!

We'll learn a bit about Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera before we get started creating. One of the things Frida Kahlo is famous for is her many self-portraits, often including colorful butterflies, birds, and flowers in her hair. So we're going to create like her by drawing a self portrait and then adding tissue paper flowers to our self portrait's hair. Diego Rivera is famous for his elaborate mosaics and murals. So we're going to create like him by designing our own mosaics out of paper.
