Create Like a Famous Artist: Georges Seurat & Yayoi Kusama In-Person

We're making art inspired the work of French painter Georges Seurat & Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama!

We'll learn a bit about Georges Seurat and Yayoi Kusama before we get started creating. One of the things Georges Seurat is famous for is a style of painting called pointillism - using small dots of color are used to create a larger pattern. So we'll create our own version of a pointillism painting by using Q-tips to paint dots. As for Yayoi Kusama, she frequently uses polka dots in her painting, including pumpkin sculptures covered in dots. So we'll make our own pumpkin out of paper and decorate it with dots.

Wearing clothes that can get messy is recommended although paint will be washable.
