Adapting to Darkness: An Owl's World In-Person
Join us for an informative evening focused on area owls species and the remarkable adaptations that enable them to thrive and hunt during nighttime. The evening begins with a brief presentation on owl biology for all, followed by a guided quiet night hike where older participants will have the opportunity to observe these nocturnal creatures using red lights and acoustic bird calls. Younger participants hear owl stories and can get some hands-on STEAM science by disecting owl pellets!
