Beginning Ukulele Workshop Series for the Family -- Ages 8 to 108

This is a fun way to share the aloha spirit of the ukulele together as an ohana (family in Hawaiian). Taught by Michigan’s Ukulele Ambassador, Ben Hassenger, and sponsored by the Music is the Foundation non-profit; you will learn a brief history of the instrument and all the basics you need to get started playing right away, including:

How to hold the ukulele
Tuning the ukulele
 One-, two-, and three- finger chords
Transitions between chords
Strumming patterns
 Easy, fun songs

Loaner ukuleles and a binder to keep your lesson materials and song sheets are provided. Registration Required, class size limited for personalized instruction: Register here.
