Explore the exciting world of Action Figure/Toy Photography!
If you have a camera, a phone, an action figure/toy, and a place to take pictures, then you can be a toy photographer!
Enjoy a fun and engaging beginners’ session of one the fastest growing aspects of toy collecting and modeling: Toy Photography, which is an engaging way to learn the basics of photography, including concepts like focus, exposure, lighting, perspective, and composition. It also is a great introduction to various mathematical skills like scaling ,involves the crafting and creativity of miniature set construction, and an opportunity to explore the skills and vision behind creating practical special effects.
There will be iPads on hand to take pictures with, but participants are encouraged to bring their own cameras (or smart devices with cameras) if desired. Attendees can also bring a toy (3”-7”) to photograph. Several toy dioramas will be on display for photo opportunities.
